Chicago, December 21, 2022 – SunVest Solar LLC® is pleased to announce that it has appointed Bram Walters to the position of CEO in order to support the company’s rapid growth and development of its industry-leading pipeline of distributed generation solar projects.
Mr. Walters is a highly experienced executive who brings a diverse background as a board member, investor, advisor and financial professional, across a range of businesses with a focus on renewable energy and infrastructure. Prior to joining SunVest, Mr. Walters was co-founder and partner at Euclid Capital, a private equity investor focused on investing in infrastructure-related businesses. Mr. Walters led Euclid Capital’s investment in SunVest in 2020 and has been a board member of SunVest since that time; as well as acting as interim CFO in 2021 through early 2022. Mr. Walters will be stepping back from his role at Euclid Capital in order to focus on SunVest.
Prior to forming Euclid Capital, Mr. Walters held increasingly senior positions at Forum Equity Partners, Standard Chartered Bank, National Bank Financial and IBM. Mr. Walters will bring his financial background to support the continued transformation of SunVest into a national, vertically integrated owner-operator with over 250 MW under management by end of 2023 and a project pipeline approaching 2 GW.

Mr. Walters replaces Matt Neumann, who will transition to a new position as SunVest’s Executive Chairman. In this role, Mr. Neumann will continue to be involved in the strategic guidance of SunVest as it grows into a leading national, vertically integrated owner-operator of renewable energy projects.

Mr. Walters is one of several senior appointments as SunVest’s executive team continues to expand, including the announcement of Timothy Polz as Chief Development Officer and Kirk Kindred as President of Business Development. To accommodate SunVest’s rapid growth, the company will open a new corporate division headquarters in downtown Chicago and expandits metro Milwaukee location with a new office there as well. Mr. Walters will be based in the Chicago office.
