A crane hoists 198 modules, ballast trays, and ballast blocks onto the roof.
Solar modules are secured on the roof using a non-penetrating ballasted racking system. The quantity of ballast blocks is determined on a project-by-project basis, and it is based on structural and wind calculations for this particular geographic location. The 10-degree tilt allows rows of modules to be clustered together with minimal row-to-row shading.
